The SUPER CHESS BOARD, iPGNViewer & Maker is an iOS application designed specifically for chess enthusiasts. It enables users to view and create chess games in PGN format, presenting moves with clear visualizations derived from the notation.

A noteworthy feature of this application is its training mode, allowing users to actively engage with the board. Users can not only play on the board but also create and save their own PGN files using the built-in PGN Maker. The application supports comments within PGN files, offering functionality to view existing comments and add new ones during file creation. Additionally, iPGNViewer allows users to open and insert variations of alternative moves.

This application serves as a valuable tool for reviewing openings that users import, followed by utilizing the training mode to test their memory on these openings. Users can conveniently add their PGN files to iPGNViewer's document library, making it simple to access and visualize chess moves.

To load local PGN files onto your iPhone or iPad, follow these steps:

 <li>Connect your device to your iMac.</li>
 <li>If your macOS is earlier than Catalina, open iTunes, navigate to file sharing, locate the app, and add your playlist to its document share.</li>
 <li>If your macOS is Catalina, Big Sur, or later, use Finder to drag your playlist into the app’s shared documents.</li>

 <li>An extensive collection of thousands of game files included within the app.</li>
 <li>Capability to insert and open variations of other moves.</li>

After rigorous testing on over ten thousand chess PGN files, the app (version 7.5 and later) effectively reads most files without issues. Users encountering problems can report them via email along with the problematic PGN file for potential rectification of bugs.
